在语文教学中，我们应该充分挖掘教材因素，寻求训练点，利用想象来拓展学生思维的空间，培养其思维的广远性、深刻性和创造性。课文第三段大禹治水时“三过家门而不入”的故事感人肺腑，教材中并没有进行过多的描述，这是一个可以充分利用和挖掘的空白点。我抓住这一“空白”，鼓励学生大胆体验和想象感人的语言、精彩的场面、美好的情感等，然后把自己的理解与想象表达出来。
