Students can have the awareness of protecting animals and care about animals.Based on the above analysis, the key point of this lesson is to get the main idea and the detailed information from the passage; the difficult point is to talk about the wildlife protection and use reading strategies.

注意安全，珍爱生命亲爱的老师、同学们，大家早上好！很荣幸在这里作国旗下的演讲，我演讲的主题是“注意安全，珍爱生命”。是否有人统计过，每年由于一时疏忽造成的安全事故夺去了多少万人的性命？酒后驾车，听起来似乎不算什么，可事实上多少人因此永远离开人世？城市高空抛物，似乎也是件小事，可事实上又有多少人因此而无辜地遭受到伤害的突袭？一块塑料泡沫，就更是微不足道的东西了，可它却是造成“哥伦比亚号”失事的直接原因，造成了难以挽回的损失；还有，一个烟头可以引起一场燎原大火、一小块马蹄铁可以颠覆一个国家……事实上，许多重大灾难的源头都只是些不足挂齿的小事。因此，安全无小事，细节不可忽视，只有防患于未然才是正道！所以，我们要切实培养自己的安全意识，来确保自己的生命和他人的生命不受威胁。因为，生命对于每个人只有一次，而生命本身又是极其脆弱的，任何一个安全事故都会对生命构成很大的影响。

现实生活中，一些不足为奇的事，一些不足挂齿的事，生活中需要的一切，不可能自己生产。所以，人类是生活在团结合作的生活中，人类无疑是幸福的，但人类的团结有虚伪的团结。不仅人类学会团结，就连小小的蚂蚁，在发现食物后，都会共同合作。把食物搬“回家”它们小小的体形，居然能把超过自己的许多倍的东西搬运。体现了团结合作的精神。纵观古今中外，任何一个人的成功都离不开集体团结的力量。智勇双全的张良，若不是投靠了刘邦，单靠单枪匹马的行刺，能实现宏图大志吗?离开了笛卡尔的启示和普里斯特等人的共同研究的科技成果，牛顿能提出“牛顿第一定律”吗?单靠一朵美丽的鲜花，打扮不出美丽的春天，个人只有融入团结的集体才能实现宏伟目标。因此，一个国家、一个民族只有精诚团结，才能自立于世界，才能谋求进步和发展。特别是我们这些作为新世纪的接班人的青少年更应该学会团结，这样才能立足社会。继承和发扬中华民族的传统美德，也是我们作为炎黄子孙义不容辞的责任。
