我是来自高二六班的xx，非常荣幸能在国旗下代表上周值周班高二六班演讲。今天我演讲的主题是：安全——教育的保障。大家知道吗，三月二十六日是“全国中小学生安全宣传教育日”。 据权威数据显示，我国现有18岁以下未成年人亿人，平均每年意外伤害人数约为4000万人次，医疗费用亿元，平均每年约有万名中小学生非正常伤亡。为推动中小学安全教育工作，降低青少年伤亡事故的发生率，保证青少年健康成长。1996年由国家教育部、公安部等七部委联合发文，确定每年三月份最后一周的星期一作为全国中小学生“安全教育日”，每年确定一个主题。 如果说学生是祖国的花朵，安全就恰如花朵下的土壤，是花朵生长的保障。我的班主任常常教导我说：“一定要注意安全，父母把自己养这么大不容易。”直到我把脚歪到之前，我还不曾意识到安全的重要性。

节约用水，做环保小卫士当你拧开水龙头打水仗的时候，当你听到上课铃响跑向教室而忘记关水龙头的时候，你可知道，你已经犯了一个很大的错误!那就是“浪费水资源!”水看上去是那样的普通，普通得让人须臾不可缺少而又随时可以忘记。人们只是在渴了的时候想到喝水，而对于水的本身关心得很少甚至从未关心过。水，是生命之源，是任何物质都不可替代的。没有水就没有生命，更谈不上什么文明和发展。当前，由于世界人口的剧增、人类的过度索取和浪费，以及工业污染等原因，世界淡水资源越来越匮乏，人类正面临着严重的水危机。中国是一个水资源紧缺的国家，尽管水资源总储量达万亿立方米，居世界第六位，但中国养活着世界1/4的人口，人均水资源占有量不足世界人均占水量的1/4，被列为全球13个人均水资源贫乏的国家之一。专家预测，中国人口将在2030年达到16亿的高峰，再加上日益严重的水污染，到那时，中国将成为严重缺水的国家。侧耳倾听，淮河在呐喊，黄河在哭泣，长江在叹息……水污染像一种持久的顽疾折磨着大大小小的河流、湖泊、水库……水环境的恶化直接威胁着人们的身体健康。为了呼吁人类关注水污染，节约水资源，联合国将每年的3月22日定为“世界水日”，呼唤着地球儿女要珍惜每一滴水。
